CGS student are expected to wear the following uniform at school, on outings and study tours.

All students: White running shoes and white socks.
Gym Uniform
All students in Classes Kindergarten to 7 must wear the designated blue T-shirt and sweat pants ‘Gym’ uniform during Gym classes.
  • Students not wearing specified uniform for games will lose marks in their assessment for ‘Games’.
  • Hair must be kept short and tidy for boys. Girls with shoulder length or longer hair must keep it tied. Oiled hair is not allowed.
  • No make-up, nail varnish or jewellery is allowed (girls with pierced ears may only wear one pair of ear studs)
  • Uniforms should be clean and well pressed.
  • Shoes must be of specified type and polished black.

 

School Uniform Suppliers:

  • The school has designated tailor in order to ensure quality standards and consistency.
  • Uniforms purchased from a tailor other than the recommended one will be rejected by the school. Colours, materials and designs must conform to the school standards. 
  • School shoes should be purchased from Bata, in the colour and design specified by the school. Students wearing non-regulation shoes will be asked to purchase the correct type. 
  • All uniforms should be ordered at the school tailors before August 1st in order to be ready by the start of the school year. 
  • The school Tuck Shops will sell the school tie, school cap and white T-shirt with the school logo for sports and games.
